40 from the youth group. The money was raised through its recent ‘RIO’ themed junior spring ball held on October 12 at the Ngatangiia Club House.

“We are so pleased to receive this cheque from the Rotaract Club of Rarotonga and the fact they have chosen our organisation to donate to,” says Gregg Young of Esther Honey. “We are always happy to receive any monetary assistance to keep our day to day running of the clinic.”

The junior ball was well attended by children from around Rarotonga who danced to the tunes of DJ Bolo to win spot prizes. The children dazzled in their colourful outfits which impressed the Rotaract members.“We would like to thank all the parents who brought their kids along to this fun event and for supporting a good cause,” says club secretary Pauline Dean.

“On behalf of the Rotaract Club and members, we are happy to donate our profits from the Junior Spring Ball to Esther Honey Foundation.” … Matariki Wilson
